06Z MSLP analysis shows a tropical low over the South China Sea to the west of the Philiphines.The tropical weather system is expected to lie over the South China Sea over the next few days leading to moderate southwest monsoon conditions until the southwest monsoon weakens during the weekend.The southwest monsoon possibly strengthens again early next week but still some uncertainty.

Forecast gives more weightage to the ECMWF model than the GFS model.
