Moderate southwest monsoon conditions persist until Thursday.From Thursday the southwest monsoon strengthens as a tropical weather system develops in the northern part of the South China Sea gradually reaching strong southwest monsoon conditions by the weekend leading to gusty showers and thunderstorms as monsoon squalls move in from the South China Sea.The southwest monsoon weakens back early next week as the tropical weather systems moves away from the South China Sea.

Forecast gives more weightage to the ECMWF model than the GFS model.
